iPoLS conference

International Physics of Living Systems Networks (iPoLS)

The 2019 Annual iPoLS Meeting in Munich, Germany is jointly organised by the SFB1032 and the Center for NanoScience (CeNS).

Scope of the Workshop

This meeting brings together more than 200 scientists from the international Physics of Living Systems Research Network (iPOLS), a trans-national network of graduate students, graduate student educators, and researchers, working at the interface between biology and physics.

Program

The meeting will consist of four days of networking and exciting talks from students and faculty members of the PoLS Network. Sessions will be arranged by institutions. There will also be two poster sessions and an "Unconference", consisting of discussions on particular topics.

The social program will include a conference dinner on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday afternoon (July 10), we will offer different activities, such as a guided city tour (1.5 h), a guided bike tour (2 h) and a roof climb on the glass roof of the famous Olympic stadium (2-2.5h).
